The Garden Villa
We stayed in a Garden Villa Suite which comprised of a sizeable living area with dining table, TV, DVD, tea, coffee etc.  There was a raised platform with 2 daybeds (and babycot), cupboards etc.

The Master Bedroom had King sized bed, TV, DVD, couch etc.  There was a bathroom with an enormous bath that would have fit 8 people and a separate walk in shower.  There were 2 bathrooms.

Ouside was a large, lawned area with a huge bed under an awning with a fan overhead.  Big cushions meant you used it for dining al fresco, relaxing with a book etc.  We also brought and filled a paddling pool there which the kids enjoyed.

The Garden Villa was perfect for a family – very spacious and you never felt on top of each other.  The day beds were large and comfy and the baby cot they provided was great, new, very comfortable and on a stand (so not flat on the floor).  It had a mosquito net and pockets for you to put dummies etc.

Younger children (aged 1-2) may have an issue with the raised area where the beds were, but our 4yo was fine and regularly jumped down without incident when visiting us in the night!

The hotel delivered fresh fruit every morning to your villa (not just a plate, but a beautiful delivery of local uncut fruit, that was something different each day).  It come with a pamphlet explaining the fruits, nice touch.

Napasai 2Really great – spacious pool with bar and snacks area.  3 good restaurants on site (all with kids menu), Thai, Western or Pizzas.  Every night there was a different ‘World Buffet’ with a different country or region represented.  If desired, parents could enjoy romantic dinners on the beach (all set with candles, hammocks to relax with your glass of wine etc)

Breakfast was buffet style and had every type of cuisine you could wish for.  They could probably do with having a few more high chairs as you often had to wait for another family to finish.  I asked them why there was a lack of highchairs and they said that people were requesting them in the villas (ah.. whoops!) and they were therefore low on them.

We enjoyed Gala Nights as we were there over the Christmas period – also good but not for kids as on very late and proved a bit much for sleepy toddlers.

My husband said the spa was good.  The gym, I’m told, was not worth using, an old running machine that hardly worked and a few weights machines.  Still, who wants to train anyway, we’re on holiday right??

The staff were amazing.  They were so friendly and kept picking up my baby son Seb.  They also made special desserts for my daughter Ava.

Kids Facilities
Napasai 1There is no playground but you are right on the beach and by the pool which is enough for us.  The beach area was the best I’ve seen in Samui.  It is a private area and a 30 second walk from your villa.

In Conclusion…
I loved the resort which I thought was luxurious without being too posh.  Clearly it is a top resort with beautiful rooms etc.  but you never felt uncomfortable having kids there as it is totally aimed at them too.  The service levels were excellent and it was very kid friendly.  Room service came swiftly when ordering dinner for the kids (25min max).

I rate the Napasai 4.5 out of 5.  I would definitely go back.  This was not cheap but thought it delivered on quality in every way and was very satisfied.
