5 Ways To Tell You’re At An Airport Without The Kids

I recently flew from Hong Kong to New York on my own.  15 hours trapped inside a small metal cabin with only myself for company.  I loved every second!

Being at an airport without two small children in tow also makes for a different/much improved experience.  In particular;

  1. Other passengers don’t give you evil looks at check-in
  2. You can walk more than 5 meters uninterrupted and at a good pace
  3. You can pause to flip through magazines at the shop or linger buying unnecessary beauty items in Duty Free
  4. You’re relaxed, even looking forward to reading your book or catching up with the latest movies onboard
  5. Other passengers don’t give you evil looks as you board your plane

What things do you miss about flying solo?
