5 Travel Themed Gifts For Kids

Being a total travel dork myself, I always like to inflict the gift of travel on others (particularly when buying children’s birthday presents).  Here is my roundup of 5 great travel themed gifts for kids.  I’m not affiliated to any of these brands in any way shape or form.  If you have any suggestions, please add your comments!

  1. MAP OF THE WORLD JIGSAW PUZZLE
This one is by Usborne and has 250 pieces (choking hazard for under 36 months).  GBP 9.99
    Usborne Jigsaw
  2. CHILDREN’S GLOBE
Whilst I favour the ones with bottles of gin hidden inside, a globe is a magical addition to any child’s bedroom.  This one by Insight Guides, available at Stanfords is an Animals Globe which shows 100 animals in relation to their country of origin.  GBP 16.99
    Animals Globe
  3. FLYING LOGBOOK
A great way to record all those flights – little kids can stick in their boarding passes whilst older kids can write notes from aircraft model to flying conditions.  The Simply For Flying Logbook is EUR 14.95 + postage

  4. STICKER BOOKS
I don’t know about my 5 year old but I would love one of these Flags of the World sticker books to play with on the plane.  Available from Amazon for just under GBP 4.00
    Flags of the World
  5. CHILDREN’S WHEELIE SUITCASE
So many on the market but why not go for something special and get it personalised (although I’m not talking monogrammed LV luggage here).  This one’s from Simply Colors available through Not On The High Street and is GBP 54.95

  1. MummyTravels

Oh, I love that animals globe – it has future birthday present for my daughter written all over it. And I could do with some extra flag knowledge too, while stickers are always a winner for her…
