Garnier Ambre Solaire Easy Peasy Kids Range

I recently took the kids back to my home town of London and had the unexpected pleasure of summer on arrival. You can never be too sure what the weather will be like in July but we enjoyed a whole week (yes a whole week) of blue skies and sunshine. In fact it was so hot that we even had to call time on a trip to Legoland where the temperatures had us wilting and temper tantrums at an all time high (my sister and I, not the kids).

I am based in Hong Kong where sunscreen is part of our daily routine. However in London I don’t often remember to reach for it. Lucky for me, the kind folks at Garnier Ambre Solaire had sent us their new Easy Peasy Kids range to test out.  There are two bottles available in this range, the Wet Skin Lotion and the Anti-Sand Spray.  Both offer SPF50+.

The Wet Skin Lotion is highly useful as you can actually stick it on your children when they have wet skin (I’m sure I’m not the only parent whose kids run straight for the pool before I’ve caught them for a sunscreen application).  It glides on smoothly and doesn’t really smell.  However my favourite is the Anti-Sand spray as it has a sand-repelling agent which allows sunscreen to be absorbed without sand sticking to the skin.  A sunscreen spray is so much easier to use when chasing little kids around who don’t want to their suncream.

Would I recommend the Ambre Solaire Easy Peasy Kids Range?  Yes and they’re not badly priced either at GBP 7.50 per bottle available from Boots.

Now remember with any sunscreen, no matter how high the SPF is or how resistant it is to anything, make sure you slather on an even coating regularly and have your kids wear a hat and sunglasses.

Disclosure: Jetlag & Mayhem was sent the Easy Peasy Kids range for review. I was not paid for this review and this is all my own opinion!
