Kids Gift Ideas: Lonely Planet Sticker Activity Books

If you’re scrambling around trying to think of gift ideas for your kids, I may well have the answer!  Lonely Planet have produced a range of seriously slick sticker/activity books for kids that are perfect for the budding traveler.  The sticker books are part of the ‘Adventures In….’ range which includes ‘Adventures in Noisy Places’ and ‘Adventures in Smelly Places’.  The sticker books are really nice and glossy and have a good mix of activities, facts and of course, stickers.  They make great presents and also perfect activity ventures for when you want a moment’s peace and quiet on the plane.

My 6 year old was particularly captivated by the ‘Adventures in Famous Places’ which took her on an adventure around the Rocky Mountains, Takayama, Washington DC, London, South Africa, Udaipur and Mexico.  The Lonely Planet blurb says recommended for 3-5 but I would recommend for those a bit older, say 4-8.  It’s best suited for kids who can read as they will get much more enjoyment out of it.

Lonely Planet also have a range for slightly older kids.  ‘How To Be A World Explorer’ is a colourful hardback book which takes young explorers through various scenarios such as ‘how to escape from quicksand’

Books can be purchased easily online here.  The ‘Adventures In…’ books are USD $10 and the ‘How To Be A World Explorer’ book is USD $18.

I am not affiliated in any way to Lonely Planet except I have been a lifelong huge fan of their guidebooks and delighted they have such awesome stuff for my kids.

Jetlag & Mayhem were sent a few sticker books for review.  I was not paid for this post and this is all my own opinion!
