Kids Luggage Review: The LittleLife Animal Wheelie Duffle

When it comes to kids luggage, they won’t care about how well it rolls or how much you can pack inside.  They want it to look fun and that’s where lovely UK brand LittleLife have got it sorted with a fun range of animal wheelies from Ladybirds to Clownfish.

LittleLife Animal Wheelie Duffle

Regular readers of this blog will know that my five year old gets to test out a wide range of kids luggage!  (I’m seriously jealous of her luggage collection).  So how did the LittleLife Animal Wheelie Duffle rate?

Looks

If they shriek with glee when they see it, you know you’re onto a winner.  We had the ‘Bee’ and it is very cute whilst still managing to look quite stylish.

Wheelability

It took her a few practices to roll it with confidence and not have it flip over.  She loved pulling out the telescopic handle herself and then wheeling it along.  Bonus marks that the case doesn’t topple over when standing up.

There’s a small hand strap for those inevitable moments where you will end up carrying the case (the handle is slightly too short for your average adult to pull along).  If I could improve anything on the wheelie, it would be to add on a shoulder strap for that same scenario.

Inside

You can pack a fair bit in to it (20 litres) and the internal pocket is handy for storing smaller items like snacks and crayons.

Value for money

The Animal Wheelie Duffle is £39.99 which is not cheap.  However, the case feels extremely durable and I think you’d get a lot of use out of it from travelling to sleepovers.  I am definitely a much bigger fan of these wheelie suitcases than I am the ride on ones (not to name names) and I think kids get quite a lot of satisfaction out of wheeling their own.  That said, this one is definitely for an older child – I would say 3.5 year old upwards.  My 2 year old did enjoy fighting her sister for it but got bored with pulling it about halfway through the airport.

You can purchase the Littlelife Animal Wheelie Duffle through their website, in stores around the UK or other online sites around the world.

Jetlag & Mayhem was sent an Animal Wheelie Duffle for review.  I was not paid for this review and this is all my opinion!
