Review of Lonely Planet Kids Let’s Explore… Series

At 8 and 5, Jetlag & Mayhem are still huge fans of sticker books.  I too am a fan of the sticker book and can often be found resticking my children’s wonky stickers (mild OCD). We are big fans of anything produced by Lonely Planet Kids and this time, we tested out the ‘Let’s Explore…’ books.  This series is a bumper packed activity book filled with 250+ stickers.

Along with the sticker scenes there are facts, puzzles and colouring-in.  The books feature two friendly characters, Amelia and Marco who take you through the activities on each page. Amelia loves technology and gadgets and Marco is fascinated by maps.  I’m with you on that one Marco!

There are 6 books in the Let’s Explore series, Jungle, City, Desert, Mountain, Safari and Ocean.  We received Desert, City and Mountain to check out.  We took the books on our month long roadtrip and they entertained the kids on long car journeys and in restaurants. The favourite was the Let’s Explore… City book as it featured our hometown of London and colourful scenes such as the Venice Carnival.

The books are suitable for 5+ and would make lovely birthday presents or vacation bribery tools! You can purchase them from Lonely Planet Kids, currently on sale for USD 6.69

Jetlag & Mayhem were sent three ‘Let’s Explore… ‘ books for review. I was not paid for this review and this is all my own opinion!
