Travel Product Review: Zpac Packing Cubes

I adore packing.  The excitement of travelling, picking out clothes for different seasons, digging out the mosquito spray and travel adaptors.  If you’re travelling with kids, packing cubes are the way forward.  I divide all our items into separate packing cubes which makes things much easier when we’re on a road trip and rarely unpack our suitcase.

I recently received a Zpac to test out on our US road trip (which requires advance good quality packing on my part!)  The set contains 4 lightweight packing cubes in varying sizes.

  • The top has a mesh design which allows you to see what’s inside (sounds stupid but there are so many packing cubes out there that don’t have this)
  • Each cube is lightweight (total weight of 4 cubes is 278g) – a necessity when you plan to stock up in outlet malls!
  • There’s a handle on one side, a nice added feature which means you can carry them more like a bag
  • Two way zips – these things will be opened and closed regularly so you need durability
  • 4 useful sizes

There aren’t any.  If anything, I want more of them – especially the medium & large sizes.

What a beautiful looking suitcase

A pack of 4 in red or black is available from J-Pillow and costs GBP 30.  Whilst you’re there, check out their travel pillow, the famous J-Pillow itself.  I can’t recommend it highly enough, especially for those who are front/side sleepers.  It truly makes flying longhaul bearable.

Jetlag & Mayhem was sent a Zpac for review.  I was not paid for this review and this is all my own opinion!
